Challenges

Complex Report Generation

• The team needed to generate different kinds of big reports coming from different places in a faster way.

• Reports have multiple filters and fetching data with those filters efficiently was critical.

• The biggest challenge was to fetch the reports with those filters in a minimum amount of time.

Sales Limit Precision

• Maintaining a sales limit of a particular user was a challenge due to multiple purchase methods at the point of sale.

• Different types of methods available for making a purchase complicated limit tracking.

• Maintaining a sales limit with precision across all purchase methods was a difficult task.

Our Solution

MySQL Functions for Reports

• Used MySQL's functions and procedure for fetching reports in an efficient way.

• Triggering a MySQL function on the fetch report with the filters made the application smooth.

• This approach allowed generating different kinds of big reports from different data sources quickly.

Sales Limit Validations

• Implemented validations so that no one can make a purchase of products above mentioned/given limits.

• When users cancel an order, limits are returned back to the particular users for that month only.

• This ensured precision in sales limit tracking across all purchase methods at the point of sale.

1. Dashboard

Overall view of the application like Time Clock (check in/ check out), Location action tracker, Daily retail sales, Daily financial breakdown, etc can be analyze from dashboard itself

2. Inventory Management

All the product listing and detail which contains product name, batch details, price group details, inbound and outbound prices, batch wise available quantity, etc. Inside pricing, one can also add pre tax pricing as well as post tax pricing

3. Price Groups

it allows you to create medical price points, wholesale inbound pricing and wholesale outbound pricing. This allows you to create a general pricing and then it can be used in inventory(product pricing).

4. Price Points

The creation of price points can apply prices to mass products in one shot. Choose the category, branch or batch type and apply dynamic prices in one click.

5. Retail Sales History

All the purchases made by users would be listed here. Also users can cancel the order as well as request for refund. List of refunds are also there. For specific views, filters are available.

6. Sales Limit

As mentioned above in the point of sale section, it's a prescription and quota based dispensary. One can define the usage quota and limit the purchase
