Tax Protest

Project Overview

The property tax application is custom-made for the tax protestors of Tarrant County. Our client owns a company that provides service for the county residents to protest their property against the government. We built a property solution for tax protesters in the state. A person outside the place is not allowed to raise a protest, as the online property tax system specifically provides a limited number of applicants who have their lands in the state. The tax app tracks applications via account number after a protest is successfully filed in the online solution.

Challenges

Complex Questionnaire Integration
For the property tax application form, we had to manage a questionnaire that carried a lot of information.
The challenge was to integrate every question in a sophisticated protest form.
Our team had to follow the guidelines and minimize the set of questions for a user-friendly form integration in the property web software solution.
Managing Multiple Data Sheets
Another major challenge our team faced was managing multiple sheets and managing all the information in one place.
The company wanted to expand in no time with its services of providing efficient protest scheduling and approvals.

Our Solution

Early-Stage Tech Partnership
Being an experienced app development company for the property tax application, we became our client's tech partner from a very early stage.
Despite living in a different time zone, we managed to get his requirements in the property application.
Business Logic and Monetization
We prepared a software with all the business logic and monetization policies.
Our developers ensured the technical feasibility of the custom build website and made it user-centric for the tax protesters.

Features Implemented

The Tax Protest web application includes features designed to simplify the property tax protest process for Tarrant County residents and administrators.

1. Sign-up / Sign-in

For sign-ups, a user has to fill in basic information through email verification. The users are required to answer some more questions related to the protest at the time of the log-in process. It is a one-time task designed by the developers.
