Challenges

LIMS Integration

• The major challenge is to place the orders in Sterling Accuris' Internal Management System (LIMS) by detecting the nearby LIMS server location.

• No detailed documentation was available for the LIMS integration.

• A lot of LIMS server Firewall issues had to be resolved.

Handling Large User Base

• Thousands of requests at a time showed the app had gone popular among people in literally no time.

• The challenge was to handle all the requests and provide all users with a crash-free and smooth experience.

• We have handled that easily with a 98% crash-free user experience.

LIMS Server Detection

• Implemented a solution to detect the LIMS server by matching the user's visiting address location and nearby pathology lab location.

• The architecture was designed with fine detailing and scalable to serve thousands of requests at the same time within milliseconds.

Features Implemented

Sterling Accuris Diagnostics app includes a comprehensive set of features designed to simplify pathology test booking and management for users across India.

1. HomePage & Browse Tests

Easy access to browse Tests, Packages, available offers, filters for tests and packages by risk areas like Liver, Kidney and by habits like smoking, alcohol etc. Users can talk with Sterling's experienced health advisor on one tap. Browsing and adding tests into a cart is so easy with the number of filters and sorting options along with dynamic test prices according to the nearby pathology lab from user's current location.

2. Upload Prescription & Navigation Tab Bar

If a user is not sure which test to take, the app provides the facility to upload the prescription directly from their doctors. Admin will study the prescription, add the tests to the user's cart and notify them via SMS and Email to place the order further. User can upload a new prescription or select from the previously uploaded prescription. Users can find all the previous/current reports and payment receipts from this section and have the flexibility to search by order id and also can download, share the reports and payment receipts on various platforms if they are booking the test for their family or friends.

3. Find The Lab Location

Tapping on the Locate lab section the users will get details of nearby and all the pathology labs like Contact Number and Address. It also has the ability to click on the directions button and navigate to the lab location.

4. Addresses and Family Members

This feature of the app is the most popular and helpful to all the users. Users can not only book the tests for themselves but also for their family and friends. My Family Section in the app is used to capture all the personal details of the family members or friends. User can use these details while booking the test for them.
