Project Overview

A social media app custom made with PWA solutions for the creators i.e. live streamers & video makers. It is a creative-first platform that allows streamers to make, see, and chat with other creators. The video streaming application also has affiliate programs for the creative community through which they can earn money. In other functionalities a user can also create stories, like, & follow other accounts. The major advantage of the progressive web app is, it is available in two different languages EN & DE.

Challenges

Video Content Challenge

• The main challenge was to restrict users for pay per minute content in live stream with notifications as reminders to buy more minutes.

• The team had to manage subscribers who had paid for a particular subscription in the application.

• Integrating pay per view and pay per minute concepts in live streaming was a difficult functionality.

• A streamer has a choice to generate his own content based on any category.

• From discovering new graphic content to photography & videography, many modules are allowed.

• Multiple content types need to be created & streamed on the streaming application.

• There are multiple ways in which a streamer & user can easily earn and make payments.

• The team had to manage all the payments according to specific streamers, their posts, and users.

• The app has a feature of graphically representing a specific streamer's earning.

1. Create Post, Stories, & Streams

A streamer can create and share a post, story or a stream alike Instagram & Facebook. He can also add and schedule streams as per his page engagement. This feature helps a streamer to constantly create and share content with his target audience instantly.

2. Streams Menu

The Netflix like app provides users with easy filters and allows them to select streams based on a particular category. It eases the selection process of the targeted audience and helps streamline the videos category wise.

3. Recurring Stream

A streamer can add recurring streams and boost his online presence in the video app when required. The feature works as a brand recall, and makes a creator's profile much more engaging.

4. Pricing for Post & Stream

The streamers can individually add pricing of their content for the users to buy & watch it at ease. It eventually helps in creating sustainable online income.

5. Find & Withdrawing Earnings

A streamer can monitor all his earnings any time in the app. An individual can also withdraw money as and when required right from the application.

6. Offers

The users can avail and check the offers which are added by the Admin and streamers. These create curiosity in the users to use the application and make the most of it to see more content of their favorite streamers.

7. VIP Content

Users can see only VIP content added by the streamers. This feature is accessible only to those who have subscribed a plan for their niche creators in the application.

8. Payment Gateway

A payment gateway for users is integrated through which they can pay for their favorite streams, charity, or subscription based streams.

9. Follow/Following

An individual witnesses all the users/streamers he/she is following or followers of his/her own.

10. Charity Streams

Users can watch the Charity Streams and posts added by the Admin or Streamers.
